I found this American Apparel foil print nylon dress in teal and think it rides the fine line of being very of the moment and fabulous, and yet potentially trashy and laughable.  It is definitely an 80's throw back with the skin tight cut and bright metallic color choice, but the wild decade is back in fashion.  I like its simple lines and color and think it has potential to be worn quite well.  Would you wear it? 


I think I would wear it but would have to ascertain how - what would be the best accessories?  I don't particularly care for American Apparel's styling shown below, with the black stocking and silver shoes.  It looks like a parody rather than a modern girl going out on the town.  Perhaps I could wear it with black ankle booties and nothing else - keep it simple.

I find a key to success, happiness, and general fabulousness is discovery; entertaining your possibilities, meeting new people, enjoying different things.  Music that sets me on the path for adventure without a doubt is by Rob Dougan an amazing Australian musician.  His tech-y compositions are alike the art of Dali in that they are surreal and create a feeling of curiousity.  I always feel like an international spy when I listen to "Clubbed to Death" in particular - check out the video for it below.

My inner nerd came to light after I saw the truly entertaining and well done Star Trek movie - Spock is, after careful consideration, hot!  The actor Zachary Quinto plays the vulcan with an unexpected level of attractiveness.  The shots of Zachary below confirm my opinion that Spock revitalized is pretty cute. 

 

What do you think of Mr. Quinto?  Hot or not?
